A candidate must provide an extended CV demonstrating: 

  • Academic qualifications or experience in lieu   
  • A minimum of 4 years of practical work experience, with a minimum of 4 years since graduation. Of those 4 years, at least 2 years must be in a position of responsibility    
  • Undertaken a sufficient period of practical training or experience in the design, construction, maintenance and management of marine vessels and structures   
  • Work experience must include responsibility for the execution of important work in, or contributing to, design, construction, maintenance and management of marine vessels and structures  

 

An extended CV should include an expansion of each relevant Naval Architecture, Maritime Engineering or Naval Engineering role to illustrate to the committee:  

  • Description of the role and level of seniority within the company   
  • Nature of the role and areas of responsibility   
  • Summary of tasks, projects, roles undertaken
